Sparkles
This is a beautiful sparkly glass called - "R B Splinter" - which has been fired with a piece of clear glass over the top. I fired it on med/high for a short time, then a zap on high. I'm afraid I dont really time my pieces too well - I just keep peeking at them till I think they're cooked.
This is called "Aventurine Green" - also a lovely deep green sparkle.

Bits & Pieces
these were fired - I split the piece in half and refired them as 2 pieces. |
This was made in a slightly larger HotPot microwave kiln on mainly low settings |
the piano keys are not my original design - I copied this idea. |
The two lower smallest pieces were the constructed in the same way, (I thought!), when I fired them at the same time, but they did not come out identically! ?
