 once this had been fired, I chipped off some bits, and added the red
band plus a millifiori flower

Glass "Dots"

These are tiny pieces of glass (cut into square shape is best) and over-fired.  They 'round' up and make lovely dots.  
It seems best to fire them on already-fired glass pieces.  You can do lots of things with them ............ but dont overfire if you want them to keep their shape.
