Glass "Dots"

These are tiny pieces of glass (cut into square shape is best) and over-fired.  They 'round' up and make lovely dots.  
It seems best to fire them on already-fired glass pieces.  You can do lots of things with them ............ but dont overfire if you want them to keep their shape.

I made this with 4 side pieces, fired it then added gold dichroic bits, then attached a mirror at the back.

Paperweight test piece

I've been trying to make heavier pieces - to use as paperweights - and this one hasn't come out too badly.  I used two pieces of square clear glass (cut to size to fit micro size) with small rectangles of colour (2mm COE 90) on top, and fused it on Med until cooked.  It does take longer when it's thicker, but at least the base glass didn't crack this time.
